About
This web site is a service of blue collar design, inc. The object of this site is to review design that serves a purpose, not just design that gets in the way. The site will include both the tools and toys I use as well as a review of other items I believe showcase or inspire good design.
This will probably not be a very “good” web site. You’re supposed to create a blog that is tightly-targeted and provide lots of content. The content here will be pretty wide-ranging, and I will not post just to post, but try to only post things of value.
About the Company
blue collar design, inc. is focused on instructional design and delivery. It is owned and operated by Bryan Sherman, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, but delivering services worldwide,
I have completed many projects in the Cincinnati area, but have also worked with clients located across the nation, and globally. Some projects have included training across the US and Canada, as well as working remotely with clients located as far away as Lisbon, Portugal and Paris, France.
Most projects are technical in nature, including handheld systems for remote sales and sales support staff, centralized supporting systems for Siebel and SAP applications.
Deliverables have included Printed manuals and supporting Word documents, Help files, Audio recordings, e-learning, and SharePoint sites.
I have delivered training as traditional instructor-led classes, remote training using WebEx, Centra, LiveMeeting, and simple conference calls. In addition, I have created storyboards for e-learning as well as designed e-learning in Lectora.
